So my first story is in it, She’s Pigeon Toed and Wears a Scarf, but don’t buy it just for me. Support my girl, Shannon T. Boodram! It’s out today (October 1, 2009) in Borders, Barnes and Noble, and main retailers across the country.

Hi Michael, I didn’t know you’d started a blog. That’s exciting. I’ve been really impressed with a lot of your stories on Laid, so I’ll be back to check often.
It’s hard to blog regularly, but I like to establish a routine. For me, it’s a poem every work day (at least). Maybe you could do one short story a week (maybe in installments?). Then if you want to mail any to literary magazines, you just take them down. I find it motivates me to write when I know people are expecting to see new work from me at regular intervals. Anyway, that’s just what works for me, so blog as you will and I will read.
I’ve been sending a lot of my stuff to literary magazines too. Haha, we should compare rejection letters sometime (I have an increasingly fat file folder of them).
